SHINGRIX is a recombinant, adjuvanted vaccine formulated to prevent herpes zoster (shingles) in adults aged 50 years and older, offering significant protection against this painful condition.
Not suitable for the prevention of primary varicella (chickenpox) infection, SHINGRIX is specifically designed to combat shingles.
Additionally, SHINGRIX is recommended for adults aged 18 years and older who are at increased risk of shingles due to immunodeficiency or immunosuppression from disease or therapy.
Each SHINGRIX dose is supplied as two components that must be mixed before administration, delivered in a single-dose vial of 0.5 mL for injection.
