Used for spreading apart and removing the hard casing of plaster or fiberglass casting material once it has been cut and prepared for removal
The blades are inserted in their closed position where the cut has been made in the casting material, and when the user squeezes the handles together, the blades open
This causes the cast to open more to a point where it can manually be split and removed completely
