Designed for the ADVIA Centaur CP, XP, and XPT Immunoassay Systems, the ADVIA Centaur® Rubella IgG assay is a highly sensitive and specific test for the detection and quantification of IgG antibodies against the rubella virus.
Utilizes an IgG-antibody capture microparticle direct chemiluminometric technology to provide accurate results for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of IgG antibodies to rubella virus in human serum or plasma samples (EDTA, heparin).
Essential for assessing rubella immunity status, especially in women of childbearing age, to prevent congenital rubella syndrome.
