HardyCHROM™ ECC chromogenic media is designed for accurate detection, differentiation, and enumeration of Escherichia coli and other coliforms in food, water, and environmental samples.
Distinguish E. coli colonies by their pink to violet coloration, while other coliform bacteria present as turquoise colonies on the agar plate.
Non-coliform organisms and certain E. coli strains, including most O157 strains, will form white or colorless colonies, facilitating easy identification and analysis.
